Goals The aim of this module is to focus on environmental concepts in urban areas and to inform students about mix-used buildings/buildings groups and prepare them for the final project.
Course Content Analyzes for comprehending the formed structural environment. Architecture - conceptual issues within the study of urban design. Designs considering function-form-environment relations within the architectural project. Solutions including sanitation, urban renewal and advanced construction technology and complex functional issues in particular urban areas.
Learning Outcomes - Solving the problems of an architectural design area in urban and building scale
- Examining the relationship between the city and the design process
- Analysing environmental components of design and integrating right relations between them
- To gain the ability to design in a historical texture
- Learning about the historical development of the city
