Goals As a continuation of the MMR303 Conservation of Historic Environment and Restoration I module, it is aimed to practice the surveying, restitution and restoration projects.
Course Content Conducting the conservation methods, field studies and restoration preparation stages in the form of student group work in a single building, building groups, city and site scales. Preparation of survey, restitution and restoration projects on a selected area.
Learning Outcomes - Possibility to apply theoretical data in the field
- To be able to do an archive search on the historical buildings and environments
- Ability to manage work and time within the group during field work
- Seeing the relationship between survey, restitution and restoration in practice
- Ability to prepare survey and restoration reports and layouts in accordance with the actual application

5. Week Critiques on surveying drawings (Layouts)
6. Week Critiques on surveying drawings (Sections and elevations)
7. Week Critiques on Surveying drawings (Details and damage assessment)
8. Week Mid-term examination / Assignment submission (Survey)
9. Week Feedbacks given on Surveying / Move on to restitution drawings
10. Week Feedbacks given on Surveying / Continue to the restitution drawings
11. Week Completion of restitution drawings and moving on to the restoration project
12. Week Development of restoration project
