| Goals | To understand the role of urban design on the quality of life in social and cultural context by examining its functional and formal aspects. |
| Course Content | Arrangement of spaces around and between buildings it is an issue mostly neglected by designers. This is one of the main reasons for the poor quality physical environment observed in our cities. The primary scope of this course is to examine the problems and possibilities of outdoor spaces. For this purpose, students are encouraged to discuss, research and design on these issues, goals, and principles of urban design. |
