Goals | The main aim of the course is to develop the students' knowledge of architectural drawing and to gain mental skills and hand skills to improve writing, drawing, modeling, freehand sketch and presentation communication techniques. |
Course Content | • Introducing the necessary materials, tools and techniques for technical and freehand drawings and models through theoretical lessons, workshop practices, homework and trips. • Drawing, repeating, dividing, enlarging, reducing and writing techniques from triangle to hyperbola, using T-ruler, ruler, set square, compass, protractor and curve templates. • Creation of solid and empty models of three-dimensional geometric shapes (ideal) and mixed objects Vertical (orthographic) projections: plan, section and views • Oblique projections: military plan, cavalier view Perspectives with vanishing points • Presentation techniques: introduction of black and white and color presentation methods using colored dry, spirit pens and various tone values and texture techniques |
