Goals | The main aim of this course is to examine the concepts of Sufism, main concepts and sources of Islamic mysticism, Sufism and sects, and to know the concepts of Sufism and its issues. |
Course Content | Definition of Sufism, subject, aim, source works, concepts and relations with other sciences, Zuhd, Sufism and Sufi orders, Sufism Issues. |
Learning Outcomes |
- It brings together the elements in this process from the beginning to the sects and reaches generalizations. Evaluates the elements involved in this process from the beginning to the period of sects. - Defines the basic concepts and subjects of thought, culture and institutions in the narrow and broad sense. Explain the elements of Sufi thought and sect. - The sects interprets Sufi practices, examples. Distinguish the differences between sects. Discuss the interpretations of the orders brought to Sufism. - He / she reaches the generalizations by bringing together the issues within the mystical issues and compiling the approaches of their representatives to these issues. Evaluate the elements that emerged during the sects. - To make comments and evaluations on terms and phrases frequently discussed in Sufism before the individual and society. - To evaluate the role of Sufi institutions in political and cultural fields - To analyze the classical and modern sources that make up the Sufi understanding |
