Goals The aim of the course is to provide students with information about the historical development of psychology and its main schools.
Course Content In this course, within the scope of the history of psychology, students will be informed about the philosophical and physiological effects on psychology, structuralism, functionalism, behaviorism, psychoanalysis and post-modern approaches.
Learning Outcomes - Understands the philosophical foundations of psychology.
- To have knowledge and comments about the currents that form the basis of psychology.
- Positioning philosophical currents according to time and context, being able to connect different currents, understand the historical development of philosophy and psychology.
- Understands the formation and development processes of philosophically based movements (behaviorism, psychoanalysis, humanism, etc.) commonly used in psychology.
- Understands the current positions of currents commonly used in psychology and their effects on psychology and clinical studies.
