Goals The aim of this course is to gain skills in collecting empirical information and reporting findings using reliable scientific methods. It is also aimed to provide students with open communication skills by using visual, verbal, and written tools.
Course Content Validity and reliability in measurement, data collection methods, quantitative research, qualitative research, analysis and reporting of data, analysis with SPSS and communication in psychology.
Learning Outcomes - Comprehends the relationships between basic statistical methods and research design.
- Creates scientific problems and hypotheses.
- Recognizes experimental and non-experimental research methods.
- Have basic knowledge about psychological tests and psychological measurement.
- Learns the basic principles of research design.
- Writes a research report.
