| Goals | This course aims to introduce students to human development in physical, cognitive, and social abilities from infancy through childhood. |
| Course Content | Basic concepts and principles related to development, factors affecting development: hereditary factors, environmental factors, historical time factor; theories of development: Freud's psychosocial development theory, Erikson's psycho-social development theory, Piaget's cognitive development theory, Maslow's personality development theory, Levinson's developmental theory, ecological approach (Bronfenbrenner); prenatal development, physical development in childhood, cognitive development, personality development, moral development; physical development in adolescence, specific developmental tasks in adolescence, cognitive development, personality development, moral development and psycho-social development in adolescence |
