Learning Outcomes - Knows the definition of language, understands the place and importance of language as a social institution in the life of the nation, and realizes the connection between language-culture and language-thought.
- Learns the place of the Turkish language among world languages, realizes the richness and subtleties of the Turkish language.
- Knows the historical development of the Turkish language.
- Knows the current state of the Turkish language, its contemporary dialects and areas of expansion.
