Goals This course is an introduction to the use of scientific methods and statistical analysis of data in psychology.
Course Content In this course, the theoretical background of descriptive, correlational and inferential statistical methodologies will be explained and then practical applications will be given. How computer software (e.g. SPSS) can be used in practical applications will be explained through examples.
Learning Outcomes - Understands the logic of statistics as applied in psychology research
- Learns the basic concepts for statistical analysis used in Psychology.
- Learn the application and interpretation of statistical analysis in psychology.
