Goals To teach students the structure and functions of major molecules and macromolecules in their structure / Industrial and medical applications, biotechnology etc. To inform students about basic biochemistry for their business fields. / To inform students about biomolecules and their behaviors in an experimental way with laboratory applications. / Attracting students' interest in bio-sciences, arousing enthusiasm.
Course Content Definition and subject of biochemistry; plant biochemistry, photosynthesis event, main components of living organism, carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids, proteins, vitamins, plant hormones and their formation, classification, functions, metabolism, diagnosis etc. in plants. quantification; chemistry of the cell.
