Goals The main objective of this course is to provide a general understanding of the biology, ecology, identity of natural and egzotic broad leaved trees of Turkey
Course Content Natural and exotic woody angiosperm (Angiospermae) taxa, the primary forest tree species in our country, their distribution areas, ecological demands and usage areas
Learning Outcomes - Understand general morphology, anatomy, physiology, ecology of Angiospermae woody taxa
- Identify the most significant Angiospermae' forest trees at family, genus or species level and recognize their ecological and silvicultural characers
- Be able to perform herbaryum sampling in natural and egzotic forest trees of Angiospermae
- Put in use knowledge/skill acquired during the course in environment effectively lecture, experiments, group work and identify tp Forest tree of Angiospermae
- Put in use knowledge/skill acquired during the course in forestry practice effectively.
- Competency to carry out joint work with students and colleagues
- Ability to implement afforestation projects in a suitable format
- Ability to effectively use the knowledge and skills gained within the course in practice
