Goals To be able to define an existing landscape in a natural or semi-natural area, to examine and analyze it within the framework of laws and regulations, to develop alternative solutions for changing the landscape and to decide on the most suitable alternative.
Course Content Rural Landscape Planning
Learning Outcomes - • Analyzing natural and cultural landscape data in macro and micro scale rural recreation areas
- • To explain the criteria for sustainable planning and design of camping and picnic areas
- To accept the necessity of legal and managerial principles in designs in rural areas
- Including upper scale spatial plans in designs
- Developing alternative design solutions specific to rural areas
- Preparing a work program for the design process of rural areas
- To be able to provide suggestions for the long-term development of the landscape and to prepare reports on how the dynamics of the landscape (such as plants, water, landscapes) can be guided by the actions of people and institutions.
