Goals This course aims to improve students’ knowledge on inclusive design and design for disability concepts, to introduce laws, regulations, and standards related to these concepts, to raise proffessional awareness in the needs of different user groups, and to develop the ability to reflect this awareness onto practical projects.
Course Content Understanding needs of different user groups and developing suitable design solutions for them
Learning Outcomes - To explain the historical development of relationship between design and disability
- To analyze the needs of different user groups
- To be able to link between user group and design solutions
- To develop design solutions for different user groups
- To care participation of individuals with varying physical, social and cognitive capabilities in social life
- To present his/her design solution by using manual and digital tools.
