Goals 1. The definition of the city, the history of urbanization and the periodic dynamics of urbanization 2. To contribute to the understanding of urban landscape 3. Identify the effects of modern and postmodern processes on the social, economic and ecological structure of cities 4. To inform the students by explaining the plan hierarchy in Turkey
Course Content At the end of this course, students - Will be knowledgeable about planning discipline - students will be able to understand a city, urban spaces with planner perspective.
Learning Outcomes - Reasoning, knowledge: To be able to comprehend the relationship between human, society and city To be able to comprehend the interdisciplinary relationship of Landscape Architecture
- Sensation, attitude(affective): To be able to understand the multi-dimensional phenomenon when making decisions about the future of cities
- Perform, skill (psychomotor): To be able to sensitive for environmental and urban rights, social and cultural rights, and to acquire the competence to make decisions with a participatory consciousness.
