Goals To introduce woody Gymnoospermae taxa; Describe the spreading areas, ecological demands and usage areas in landscape architecture.
Course Content It includes the gymnosperm (coniferous) woody plants to be used in landscape practices and their applications in planting designs.
Learning Outcomes - Reasoning, knowledge: • Having knowledge about the external morphological features of plants, their distribution areas, their habitats and their ecological demands • To be able to recognize the plants with closed seeds that grow naturally in our country and planted in parks and gardens. • To be able to recognize exotic woody plants that can be used in parks and gardens in our country
- Sensation, attitude(affective): • To be able to distinguish by comparing the external morphological differences between learned plants. • Understanding the perceptual properties of plant components such as Cone, arillus, coniferous leaf
- Perform, skill (psychomotor): • To be able to carry out joint studies on plants • Selecting and using plants in planting studies
