Goals The goal of this course is to enrich the understanding of landscape design by an overview of the history of gardens throughout the centuries, from Eastern and Western origins.
Course Content The concepts of garden and landscape are given in a historical perspective and the understanding of garden and landscape art is explained with examples in the period extending from the Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance and until today.
