Learning Outcomes - • Describe the basic factors that guide the formation and development of landscape design thinking
- • Explain and adapt general design knowledge learned in basic design in Landscape Design
- • Explain the basic elements of landscape design
- • Can construct the basic elements of landscape design according to the principles and can apply by drawing
- • Distinguish the approaches of important landscape designers

1. Week Information about aim, definition,content and execution of the course
2. Week Measure-scale concepts and applications
3. Week Basic Design-Landscape Design relations, Physical, social, economic and legal factors that guide landscape design. Application: Graphical representations in Design
4. Week Land recognition studies, the importance of land studies. Survey, survey analysis and examples.
5. Week Functions and giving information about the establishment of relations between functions. Ideal function, area function diagrams
6. Week Information about the concept plan and examples.
7. Week Basic spatial organizational principles. The role of factors that guide landscape design in form formation. Application: Information about form creation and association (90/45, 30/60 angle geometric form applications)
8. Week Midterm exam
9. Week Information about form creation and association (Circle, ellipse, bow, tangent forms applications)
10. Week Examples of the works of leading landscape designers of our time. Application: Form group creation and association (mixed and organic forms)
11. Week Master plan process in landscape design. Application: Discussion on project process and examples of plan stages
12. Week Application plan process in landscape design. Application: Examples of application plan studies
13. Week Detail plans in landscape design. Application: Detail plan examples
