Goals This course focuses on the meaning and importance of the phenomenon of globalization. It aims to harmoniously bring together scientific sources, an overview of globalization and what we know about it.
Course Content Globalization concept that has been on the agenda since 1970. The concept will be discussed with its economic, social, political and technological dimensions, along with Turkey's place in globalized world order will be open to discussion.
Learning Outcomes - Understanding the main factors of globalization
- Evaluating international economic policies (trade, investment, growth, financial policies etc.) implemented by national governments and multinational corporations
- Understand the nature and structure of multinational companies within the global system
- Analyze the structural changes that occur between the international financial institutions (World Trade Organization, IMF, World Bank) and multinational companies
