Goals The aim of this course is to educate students who are aware of the basic debates of political science and who can critically follow and interpret current political developments. It is the primary objective of the course to equip students with the conceptual and analytical tools necessary to understand the principles of political systems in the world and the examples of countries.
Course Content Within the scope of this course, readings and discussions are held on the topics of political regimes and different types of government, democratic and authoritarian regimes, representative democracy in capitalist societies, parliamentary systems, presidential systems.
Learning Outcomes - Understand the organization schemes of modern state systems.
- Analyze the differences between the types of regime.
- Can gain a comparative perspective on world politics.
- Develop an academic perspective on daily political developments.
