Goals To recognize the philosophers of Turkish Islamic culture and to reveal their cultural influences on political thought. To answer the mental problems in Turkish Islamic culture.
Course Content Understanding the meeting of Turkish and Islamic thought, understanding the world perception of Islamic civilization, contributions of Turkish thinkers to Islamic civilization, Major Turkish Islamic political thinkers are the scope of the course.
Learning Outcomes - To be informed about current debates, new views and methods in the field of Turkish Islamic thought history.
- To be able to compare Turkish-Islamic thinking with universal knowledge
