Goals The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basic concepts and institutions of law and to provide them with information about the content of the concepts they encounter both in daily life and in various parts of the education they receive. On the other hand, it aims to prepare the infrastructure of the law courses they will take in the future.
Course Content Basic Concepts of Law, Rules Regulating Social Life, Sources of Law, Definition of Right, Acquisition, Use, Protection and Loss of Right, Family Law and Provisions, Concept of Debt, Causes of Debt, Execution of Debt, Termination, Representation, Concept of Property, Property Transfer and Pledge Transactions.
Learning Outcomes - • Having access to general information about the Turkish judicial system and gaining the ability to have knowledge about the cases filed in these areas and to understand and convey the concepts.
- • Assimilate the concept of rights, internalize the issue of having rights and having a capacity.
- • Being informed about legal procedures and actions and taking responsibility in law
- • Being able to understand the purposes and functions of law and distinguishing them from other rules of social order.
- • To be informed about the state order, the functioning of state organs and basic human rights.
