Goals The main purpose of this course is to provide students with theoretical and practical activities such as the place of public relations in health institutions, organization of public relations, recognizing the society and personnel of health enterprises, introducing the enterprise to the society, marketing processes and methods.
Course Content Basic concepts in public relations, application areas of public relations, historical development, difference with similar fields, interpersonal communication, communication barriers, environments and tools used, internal and external public relations.
Learning Outcomes - To learn the applicability of public relations principles theoretically and practically.
- To be able to follow and contribute to the literature on public relations
- To be able to conduct research and study as a group and independently.
- To be able to express ideas and research results related to public relations verbally and in writing.
- To be able to take professional responsibility and act ethically in health institutions.
- To be able to determine strategies for public relations in the constantly changing and developing health service sector.
- Being sensitive to new approaches in the field of public relations in health institutions.
