Goals | To know transportation terms, traffic capacity, highway elements and geometrical characteristics. |
Course Content | History of highways and transportation, classification of highways, terminology of highway engineering, specifications of traffic, annual daily traffic, composition of traffic, estimations of traffic, design speed, types of vehicles, min. curves for turning, curves, lanes, transition curves, horizontal and vertical curves, intersections |
