Goals | Providing students with the basics of surveying in order to area calculation, hypsometry, measure land surfaces for designs and projects and applying them |
Course Content | Definition, scope and usage places of surveying knowledge; coordinate systems, scale types and calculation methods, properties and functions of measuring instruments, length measurement methods, marking of points and lines, parcel measurement with simple methods; geometric height measurement, leveling works, area measurement methods; area calculation from land measurements, area calculation from coordinate values, area measurement with planimeter; adjustment and installation of devices related to topography, length and angle measurements in the field, polygon measurements and calculations, trigonometric height measurements and calculations, application operations, drawings according to topographic measurement results. |
