Goals Providing students with the basics of the behaviour of structural elements and structures under various loading conditions, determination of the states of stress and strain in any structural elements submitted to the axial force, shear force, bending and torsion, and its combinations.
Course Content Basic concepts, Cross section diagrams, Stress analysis, Combined loading, Deflection calculations, Buckling.
