Goals This course aims to teach basic manufacturing methods to the student by using machining, chipless manufacturing and molding techniques, which are basic mechanical manufacturing processes.
Course Content Introduction to metal forming and basic concepts, metal forming with hand tools, measuring and marking, drilling, tapping and threading, reaming, lathes and turning, milling machines and milling, grinding machines and plane grinding and basic manufacturing operations.
