Goals Turkish Youth of the national, human, conscious of their spiritual and cultural values, as a member of one of the Republic of Turkey, founded by the Great Ataturk, know their duties and responsibilities towards the state, believing that the Turkish state with its territory and nation is an indivisible whole is and it's right who takes pride, understand Atatürk's Principles heartily, sincerely adopt them, try to be more beneficial to their country with the power they receive from these beliefs, try to be more beneficial to their country, have a scientific thought, have a scientific attitude, respect and respect human rights, show a critical attitude. To bring young people who can grasp the events of the age, develop a scientific perspective against historical events and aim to reach the level of modern civilizations.
Course Content The aim of reading Ataturk's Principles and Revolution History, the meanings of concepts such as reform, reform, regulation, and constitutionalism, the similarities and differences between these concepts, analysis of examples according to the concepts of these concepts in history and the content of the concepts. In the context of understanding the historical foundations of the Turkish Revolution; The crisis experienced by the Ottoman Empire, the internal and external dynamics affecting this crisis, the analysis of these dynamics and their effects on the Turkish Revolution. Modernization efforts to protect the existence of the Ottoman State, the Tanzimat, Reform and Constitutional processes within the scope of these efforts, the intellectual infrastructure of the modernization process and the ideas of Ottomanism, Islamism, Turkism and Westernism in this context, the effects of these currents on Turkish Revolution and the present day. The dissolution process of the Ottoman Empire, the political, social, economic and cultural dynamics affecting this process, the Tripoli War, the Balkan Wars, the First World War and the Mondros Armistice Treaty. During the transition to the Republic and in the pre-Ottoman period, the “Orient Issue”, the emergence of this issue, the policies of the states within this issue, the effects of these policies on the Ottoman State, the “Orient Issue” during the transition to the Republic / the first years of the Republic. Developments after the signing of the Mondros Armistice; Anatolian occupations, the reaction to the occupations and the first organizations in the National Struggle, Rejection and the national feelings formed around this concept, the effects of these occupations on the emergence of the National Struggle and Kuva-y Milliye, the National Struggle spirit, Mustafa Kemal and his leadership in this process, Occupations the situation of the country and the reaction of Mustafa Kemal Pasha, Mustafa Kemal's search for a political solution against the occupations and his political / intellectual activities in Istanbul, Mustafa Kemal Pasha's departure to Samsun.
