| Course Content | The aging process, emerging issues related to aging and theoretical knowledge about the solution of these problems and evaluate the lessons include the principles of care in elderly individuals. |

- Identify the important phsical and mental health problems of aging and their effects on the functioning of older people and their families. - Describe the significance of preventive health care and health promotion for the elderly. - Discuss the physiologic aspects of aging that occur as a result of both normal and pathologic changes. - Describe the aging population based on demographic trends and statistical data. - Develop a definition of aging based on theories of aging. |
