- Knows the structure and working principle of a 3-phase asynchronous motor and recognizes its label. - Knows the torque-speed characteristics of a 3-phase asynchronous motor. Defines the slip. - Performs power flow analysis in 3-phase asynchronous motors. - Understand the operation of the synchronous machine, motor and generator, and define the effect of excitation current. - Performs performance analysis of the synchronous generator under different load and excitation current conditions. - Performs performance analysis of the synchronous motor under different load and excitation current conditions. |
