Goals The ability to define air, climate, climate components, climate factors, information about the meteorological events to improve the quality and quantity of crop and animal production, information about meteorological events which has negative effect on agricultural production and the preventive measures.
Course Content Importance and purpose of Agricultural Meteorology, structure of atmoshpere, atmospheric pollution and effects on cultivated plants, weather, climate and climate components, effects of climate components on crop and animal production, meteorological events which has negative effect on agricultural production, global climate changes and its effects on agriculture and water resources.
Learning Outcomes - Identifying air, climate and climate components,
- Understanding the effects of atmospheric enviroments on agricultural production as quality and quantity
- Determining measuring techniques and ways of expressions of climate components
- Interpretation of results
- Identifying meteorological events which has negative effect on agricultural production and choosing the appropriate preventive measures
