Goals | After completing this course, student will be able to improve his/her knowledge and skills on basic concepts of taxonomy of seeded plants, the most important families, genus and species for Agriculture in the World and Turkey. |
Course Content | Principles of general taxonomy, nomenclature, classification systems of plants. - Basic principles of identifying of flowering plants. - The evaluation and origin of plants. - General features and classification of Spermatophyta (Gymnospermae and Angiospermae) with samples from the most important taxa for agricultural systems. |
