Goals | To comprehend the morphology of Turkish and to use spelling-punctuation marks on the spot, to comprehend the elements and types of the sentence, to gain the ability to write and speak without expressing disorders, to present in front of the community and to gain the ability to examine scientific texts and take notes. |
Course Content | Morphology of Turkish language, elements of sentence and sentence types, expression disorders, spelling-punctuation marks, presentation, poetry, essay, composition, story, newspaper, magazine studies and applications. |
Learning Outcomes |
- Students develop their ability to express what they read, listen, see, understand and think in a planned, effective and fluent way with words and writing. - Knows the differences between fictional and educational texts. - The writer can use the academic theses (undergraduate, graduate and doctoral) in the framework of Turkish language thesis writing rules. - Evaluate the text it encounters in terms of structure and content features. - Recognizes idiom-proverbs, uses these phrases correctly in written-oral expression. |
