Goals The main aim of the course is to give the students opportunity to recognise the diseases in cereal and forage crops commonly grown in our country, to learn the methods used in the diagnosis, detection and control of these diseases and to realize solving the problem faced on this matter and reporting the results obtained.
Course Content Viral, bacterial and fungal plant pathogens causing diseases on cereal and legumonous plants will be introduced. The control methods will be detailed.
Learning Outcomes - Skilled in the classification of the cereal and legume diseases and causes of diseases
- Diseases of cereals and legumes in the genus or species levels and knowledge about the definition and biology of the disease agents
- Diagnose the diseases in fields and have knowledge about the management strategies.
- After the aplications of lesson, gains the ability to easily identify grain diseases in his professional life.
