Goals To teach important diseases of fruits and grapes, and also the control methods of them.
Course Content The fungal, bacterial and viral diseases of fruits and grape; and also the physical, cultural, legal and chemical control methods against those diseases.
Learning Outcomes - Ability to diagnose diseases caused by fungi, bacteria and viruses seen in vineyards and fruit trees
- Deciding on the method to combat diseases seen in vineyards and fruit trees
- Measuring economic losses of fruit and vineyard diseases
- Comprehending the differences in phenotypic characters that are essantial for fungal taxonomy
- Learning the life cycles of plant pathogenic fungi
