Besides, the students are able to get the basic knowledge about entomopathogenic nematodes.
Course Content Nematology, plant parasitic nematodes, features and characteristics, and spread patterns and distribution, entomopathogenic nematodes, uses and activities, cultural, physical, chemical and biological control methods against plant parasitic nematodes.
Learning Outcomes - Student, know the characteristic and biology of plant parasitic nematodes
- Understand feeding mechanisms and damages of plant parasitic nematodes
- Learn the survival strategies and host interactions of entomopathogenic nematodes
- To organize the report or prescription on the decision related with plant protection methods against the economically important plant parasitic nematodes in agricultural production
- Determine the pest insects controlled by entomopathogenic nematodes and to use these benefical organisms successfully in biological control
- Uses the earnings from in-class applications in professional life
