Goals The aim of this course is to analyze the policy preferences of states in different economic conjunctures and the place of fiscal policy among these preferences.
Course Content The importance and place of fiscal policy among economic policies; objectives, tools and effects of fiscal policy; effectiveness and sustainability of fiscal policy; different theoretical approaches to fiscal policy.
Learning Outcomes - Students can explain the theoretical basis of fiscal policy.
- Students can discuss different theoretical approaches to fiscal policy.
- Students can anticipate the effectiveness, sustainability, effects on different social groups and possible problems about application of fiscal policy.
