Goals The statistics course targets to help students to make prudential plans via interpreting numerical data. In the course that various statistical methods such as descriptive, interrogative data analysis, sampling, regression and variance analysis are taught with case studies, students are aimed to comprehend the basics of statistical methods and to gain the ability to chose and use the data analyzing methods appropriate to the situation.
Course Content Sampling methods, confidence intervals for parameters, hypothesis testing, chi-square test, regression, correlation and time series analysis
Learning Outcomes - Students can apply regression and korelation analysis.
- Stedents can apply the process of generating and testing hypothesis.
- Students gain experience of analyzing numerical data with statistical methods.
