Goals It aims to provide students with the ability to understand the functioning of the economy in general and to analyze macroeconomic balances. Teaching economic models aims to provide students with the ability to evaluate the effects of economic policies and interpret economic decisions.
Course Content Simple Keynesian Models, General Equilibrium Analysis, IS-LM Models, Policies in IS-LM Models, BP Curve, Aggregate Demand Aggregate Supply Model, Effectiveness of Economic Policies, Economic Growth Theories
Learning Outcomes - Analyzing economic policies and analyzing general economic equilibrium with AD-AS models
- Evaluating the formation of money demand and money supply
- To be able to evaluate the effects of price level and inflation on macroeconomic indicators.
- Analyze theories of economic growth and examine different approaches to understanding long-term economic performance.
- Evaluating the macroeconomic consequences of international economic relations and the effects of foreign trade, exchange rates and international capital movements.
