Goals The aim of the Introduction to Economics-2 course is to teach students macroeconomic concepts such as national income, inflation, unemployment, monetary and fiscal policies, and to develop their ability to analyze economic events and evaluate the effects of economic policies.
Course Content This course covers the understanding of macro-level national accounts, the comprehension of key macroeconomic indicators such as growth, employment, unemployment, and inflation, as well as gaining comprehensive knowledge of monetary and fiscal policy concepts.
Learning Outcomes - Students can describe basic macroeconomic concepts.
- Students can summarize historical development process of macroeconomics.
- Students can compare basic macroeconomic schools through assumptions, policy offers and economic perspectives.
- Students can list the pioneering names of macroeconomic schools and their contributions to macroeconomics.
- Students can constitute simple models of macroeconomic relations and can graphically explain these models.
