Goals The students understand the characteristics of contemporary Turkish art and make documentary and the formal analysis the works of the period.
Course Content This course consists Turkish art and artists in westernization period, make the analysis of documentary and formal the artwork, Turkish art and artists in the Republicperiod, make the analysis of documentary and formal the artwork.
Learning Outcomes - Students should know Turkish Art History the artists and works
- The students should be able to formally analyze documentary and period artwork.
- Ability to present in class with weekly research
- To be able to analyze Turkish art works
- To be able to distinguish materials, construction techniques, decoration techniques and stylistic features according to the periods.
