Goals This course is to acquire knowledge and skills about the precautions to be taken on time and on the spot in order to save the lives of the individuals who are suddenly ill or accidents and to limit the injuries
Course Content Basic applications of first aid, first and second assessment, basic life support in adults-children and infants, first aid in respiratory tract obstruction, external and internal bleeding, wound and wound types, first aid in regional injuries, head and spine fractures, fractures, dislocations and sprains first aid, first aid in diseases requiring emergency care, first aid in poisoning, heat stroke, burns and frosts, emergency transport techniques fast transport techniques in short distance transporting sick or injured by creating stretcher
Learning Outcomes - Be able to explain basic practices of first aid
- Evaluate the scene in accordance with the rules
- Make first and secondary evaluation of the patient at the scene
- First aid to patient / wounded patient with hemorrhage, first aid to patient with Shock
- First aid in respiratory tract obstruction
- Apply basic life support to respiration and heart-stopping person
- First aid in heat balance disorders
- First aid in skull and spine injuries
- First aid in fracture dislocation and buckling
- To apply patient and injured transportation techniques
- First aid according to injury types
- Able to apply first aid to patient with strong pain, blood sugar drop, unconsciousness and referral
- First aid in animal bites and stings
- First aid in poisoning
