Goals Internal medicine and public health requirements in accordance with the basic information about the development of healthy / sick individual, family and community health, development, treatment and rehabilitation of contemporary role in the adoption and implementation of the functions.

Learning Outcomes - To know the basic concepts about health and illness
- Understanding the reaction of the organism in situations that disrupt homeostasis, the basic concepts of the disease and the reactions to the disease.
- Demonstrating professional behavior in the light of the structural, sociocultural characteristics and value judgments of the society to which service is provided.
- Understand the health problems of the society and the basic principles of primary and secondary prevention related to these problems.
- Identifying and meeting the care needs of the individual, family and society regarding health behaviors
- Performing the roles and functions of internal medicine nursing in harmony with different stages of health care systems
- Having knowledge about diseases related to all systems within the scope of internal medicine
- Using their knowledge about diseases related to all body systems within the scope of internal medicine to meet the care needs of the sick individual.
- Being able to make decisions regarding the care of patients, especially in frequently encountered emergency and critical situations, in line with the nursing process
- Gaining the ability to implement decisions regarding the care of patients in frequently encountered emergency and critical situations in line with the nursing process.
- Having knowledge about 'Health Education' that will improve health behaviors in individuals, families and society.
- Applying knowledge about 'Health Education' to improve health behaviors in individuals, families and society
- Being sensitive about monitoring and researching all developments related to internal medicine nursing.
