Goals This course aims to teach how to decipher Ottoman manuscripts and its basic features.
Course Content It will be a course content aimed at examining various texts consisting of Rika handwriting used in the Ottoman Archives, starting with printed, which is one of the types of Ottoman writing, in terms of shape and content, and gaining the ability to read at a certain level.
Learning Outcomes - Identify the general characteristics of Ottoman scripts
- Read and decipher texts written in Ottoman scripts
- Read Ottoman archival documents at an elementary level
