Goals The dominant political formations in the Near East ( 8th – 16th centuries) can be comprehended, political and socio-cultural charateristics of those states can be summarized and the importance of the states in the Turkish Islamic history can be analyzed
Course Content Students; 1) Can sort the dominant political structures in Near East between 8-11 th century 2) Can summarize socio-political characteristics of those states 3) Can analyze the significance and impacts of those states in the history of Islam 4) Can evaluate the importance of Near East between 8-11 th century in the world history
Learning Outcomes - Student; 1) 8 - 11 century political structures that dominate the rankings in the Near East 2) Summarizing the political history and socio-cultural characteristics 3) The significance and impact of these states to analyze the history of Islam. 4) Near-date assessment of their place in world history.( 8.-11.
