Goals Education as a science; to educate teachers who have knowledge about historical, psychological, social, political, philosophical, political and economic foundations and who can establish relations between them, Turkish education system, methods used in education and new orientations,
Course Content The basic concepts of education, the relation and functions of education with other sciences (philosophical, social, legal, psychological, economic and political foundations of education), historical development of education science, trends in educational science in 21st century, research methods in education science, , the role of the teacher in the education system, the characteristics of the teaching profession, practices and developments in the field of teacher training.
Learning Outcomes - They explain the concept of profession.

- Explains social and politic basics of education
- Interprets the relations of education with some fields (psychology, philosophy, law, economy).
