Goals | The aim of this lesson is to teach the basic concepts of play and music in special needs to special education teachers. |
Course Content | This lesson class aims to describe the theorists who are important for using play as a teaching tool. Besides this course provides an integrated view of normal and atypical play development. Specific assessment and intervention procedures useful for teachers of children and youth with severe/profound or mild/moderate disabling conditions are emphasized. Approaches to play assessment and intervention for children who are at-risk, developmentally delayed or language learning disabled are presented. |
