Goals The main aim of this course is to examine the physical, mental, emotional and social development of the individual during his lifetime.
Course Content Transition to adulthood (appearing adulthood); basic characteristics of young adulthood, developmental tasks specific to young adulthood, establishing close relationships in young adulthood, adaptation to working life in young adulthood; The main features of the importance of mid-adulthood, development tasks specific to mid-adulthood and problems that may be encountered, physical development in mid-adulthood, mid-adulthood cognitive development, personality development in mid adulthood, psycho-social development in mid adulthood; basic features of old age, development tasks specific to old age, physical development in old age, personality development in old age, cognitive development in old age and psycho-social development in old age.
Learning Outcomes - Knows transition to adulthood (emerging adulthood) and the characteristics of young adulthood.
- It gives examples from daily life to the relationship between mid adult development tasks and problems that may be encountered.
- Understand the basic features of the old age.
- Explain the effect of physical development, personality development, cognitive development and psycho-social development on the individual's functionality level in old age.
