Goals The second term of the course aims to introduce students to fundamental issues of the philosophy of art. Ideas about the essence, purpose, and value of art are examined.
Course Content Main theories of art. Constituting and appreciating aesthetic objects. Aesthetic value and aesthetic judgement. Art criticism and interpretation.
Learning Outcomes - To be capable of characterizing main definitions of art.
- To be capable of constituting aesthetic objects and making aesthetic judgments about them.
