Goals Objective of the Lecture The objective is to know every material that is used for painting, to show preparation of some basic materials and provide students to test the materials they have prepared and providing solutions related to technical issues and to encourage them to develop new material and techniques.
Course Content Introduction, preparation of all kinds of technical materials that are used for painting. Providing theoretic and practical information that shall make them develop solution recommendations for any technical problems that can be encountered during their two or three dimensional art works that shall be performed during the term.
Learning Outcomes - Can discriminate and classify dry pattern materials, basic specifications of water paint and oil paint and the art works therein.
- Can obtain experience in usage of each material.
- Can prepare materials like coal, water based paints, canvas, priming, thinners, oil paint.
- Can find out new materials and techniques.
- Can make trials on different surfaces and with different materials.
- Can create new combination by matching different materials.
- Can develop practical solution recommendations for any technical problems that can be encountered during their two or three dimensional art works that shall be performed during the term.
